Based in Meridian, Idaho, Creative Cove is an in home art studio for kids, youth and their families.  We explore a variety of art media while encouraging self-discovery, good mental health and advocating for youth to positively inspire and connect with their local communities.

About Us

OUR MISSION

"The Cove", as it is affectionately called, is a vibrant space designed to provide youth with a comfortable, relaxed place for thoughtful reflection and exhuberant inspiration.

  • Create a distinct and unique experience for every participant.

  • Employ art education as the bridge between multiple subjects in a fun, creative way.

  • Include both process and result driven art programs. 

  • Assist youth with their artfilled exploration and self- discovery.

  • Use community connections to inspire youth to be both lifelong art makers and art givers.

MEET THE TEACHER
Becky Jenks

Over the last decade, Mrs. Jenks has spent countless hours as a volunteer art teacher. She has first hand experience seeing art's numerous benefits for youth, young and old. That awareness, her enthusiasm for art and her genuine love of kids inspired her to build Creative Cove. "Art isn't just about learning and fun. Creativity fills a human need. It is a refuge. It gives purpose. Everyone is a youthful artist.
